Ramba Tumbalip is the protagonist of the first song I've written back in 2011. Ramba stayed with me throughout the years, allowing me to create a character that transcends the medium he was born in.
What I'm trying to do with this collection is to combine my animation background with traditional oil painting.
Markers or acrylics could be more suitable for this style. But there's something about the slow curing process of oils that slows me down and keeps the painting living and breathing for years. This contrast between the style and the process is a beautiful exploration.
